This summer, PBN has been proud recipient of the talents of Grace Zimmerman. We sat down to talk to her last week to learn a bit more about her.

Where do you go to school and what grade are you in? I am about to start my Junior year at Santa Clara University in California.

What is the last great book you read? I actually have a bit of problem with reading books too quickly (if you can call that a problem), so I've read about 10 great books in the last two weeks or so. The one I just finished was a book called, “My Name is Memory,” which was about reincarnation. Even though it was fiction, it really made me think about life.

What is your favorite part about working at Pro Bono Network? Other than having some pretty great people around all the time, I really enjoy being able to watch PBN attorneys interacting with clients and helping out as much as I can at clinics. I feel like the work we do at PBN is very important and I love being able to see the lawyers make such a big difference.

What is your dream job? Right now my goal is to become a criminal prosecutor with the Department of Justice, but somewhere way down the line, my dream is to be on the Supreme Court. I want to help make the world a more just place, and I'd like to be able to affect the sort of widespread change that the Supreme Court is tasked with creating.

If you were a type of food, what kind of food would you be? If I were a food, I'd probably be a sandwich because it is both my favorite food and made up of lots of separate parts that come together to create a mostly functioning food.

Thank you Grace for all of your hard work!
